Helicobacter pylori infection remains a challenging worldwide medical problem due to its extreme widespread prevalence and its close relation to acid peptic disease, gastric carcinoma and gastric mucosa associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma (Nasrat, 2015). Infection with H. pylori is typically life-long unless treated (Andreoli, 2001; Fendrick, 2000; Groeneveld et al., 2001; Baron, 2000).
